继 Linux Kernel 4.20 版本正式发布 三个月， Linux Kernel 4.20.17 维护版本也于近日更新。Greg Kroah-Hartman 在邮件中写道：“这是 4.20.y 的最后一个版本。现在它已结束生命周期，请大家迁移至 5.0.y 内核分支。”
Linux Kernel 4.20 版本于2018年圣诞前夕发布，该系列引入了 pressure-stall 检测机制，并支持 C-SKY 架构，及 XArray 数据结构。
现在，该系列将不再进行维护。所有 4.20 用户必须尽快完成升级，并建议迁移到 5.0 内核分支。
