原理
官方文档说明了RunLoop的执行顺序:
1. Notify observers that the run loop has been entered.
2. Notify observers that any ready timers are about to fire.
3. Notify observers that any input sources that are not port based are about to fire.
4. Fire any non-port-based input sources that are ready to fire.
5. If a port-based input source is ready and waiting to fire, process the event immediately. Go to step 9.
6. Notify observers that the thread is about to sleep.
7. Put the thread to sleep until one of the following events occurs:
* An event arrives for a port-based input source.
* A timer fires.
* The timeout value set for the run loop expires.
* The run loop is explicitly woken up.
8. Notify observers that the thread just woke up.
9. Process the pending event.
* If a user-defined timer fired, process the timer event and restart the loop. Go to step 2.
* If an input source fired, deliver the event.
* If the run loop was explicitly woken up but has not yet timed out, restart the loop. Go to step 2.
10. Notify observers that the run loop has exited.

主线程的RunLoop是在应用启动时自动开启的,也没有超时时间,所以正常情况下,主线程的RunLoop 只会在 2---9 之间无限循环下去。
那么,我们只需要在主线程的RunLoop中添加一个observer,检测从 kCFRunLoopBeforeSources
到 kCFRunLoopBeforeWaiting
花费的时间 是否过长。
如果花费的时间大于某一个阙值,我们就认为有卡顿,并把当前的线程堆栈转储到文件中,并在以后某个合适的时间,将卡顿信息文件上传到服务器。
实现步骤
在看了上面的两个监测卡顿的示例Demo后,我按照上面讲述的思路写了一个Demo,应该更容易理解吧。第一步,创建一个子线程,在线程启动时,启动其RunLoop。

第二步,在开始监测时,往主线程的RunLoop中添加一个observer,并往子线程中添加一个定时器,每0.5秒检测一次耗时的时长。

第三步,补充观察者回调处理

从打印信息来看,RunLoop进入睡眠状态的时间可能会非常短,有时候只有1毫秒,有时候甚至1毫秒都不到,静止不动时,则会长时间进入睡觉状态。
因为主线程中的block、交互事件、以及其他任务都是在
kCFRunLoopBeforeSources
到
kCFRunLoopBeforeWaiting
之前执行,所以我在即将开始执行Sources 时,记录一下时间,并把正在执行任务的标记置为YES,将要进入睡眠状态时,将正在执行任务的标记置为NO。
第四步,补充timer 的回调处理

timer 每 0.01秒执行一次,如果当前正在执行任务的状态为YES,并且从开始执行到现在的时间大于阙值,则把堆栈信息保存下来,便于后面处理。
为了能够捕获到堆栈信息,我把timer的间隔调的很小(0.01),而评定为卡顿的阙值也调的很小(0.01)。实际使用时这两个值应该是比较大,timer间隔为1s,卡顿阙值为2s即可。

剩下的工作就是将字符串保存进文件,以及上传到服务器了。
我们不能将卡顿的阙值定的太小,也不能将所有的卡顿信息都上传,原因有两点,一,太浪费用户流量;二、文件太多,App内存储和上传后服务器端保存都会占用空间。
可以参考微信的做法,7天以上的文件删除,随机抽取上传,并且上传前对文件进行压缩处理等。
